Welcome to POS Ledger Plus.

Your privacy is important to us. POS Ledger Plus is designed as a fully offline Point-of-Sale (POS) application for retail clothing stores, garment showrooms, and boutiques running on Android devices. Your business data remains stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your clothing sales or inventory data on our servers.

1. Information Stored by the App

POS Ledger Plus stores the following information only on your device to provide its core functionality:

  • Clothing Store information (Business Name, Address, Phone Number, GSTIN/Tax ID, Logo)
  • Garment product details, size & color matrix variants, and barcode SKUs
  • Sales invoices, alteration records, and billing transactions
  • VIP customer fit measurements and purchase history
  • Supplier and wholesale vendor ledgers
  • Garment stock levels and low-stock threshold alerts
  • Apparel GST tax reporting and sales analytics
  • App settings and preferences

This information is stored locally on your Android device and is not transmitted to us.

2. Data Collection

POS Ledger Plus does not collect, sell, rent, share, or transmit your personal or clothing store business data to our servers or any third party.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling.

3. Permissions Used

The app requests only the permissions required for its features.

Camera

Used only for scanning garment barcodes during billing or while managing size/color inventory.

Storage / Photos & Media

Used only to:

  • Save PDF invoices and tailor slips
  • Export sales reports
  • Import or export backup files
  • Restore previously created backups

The app does not upload these files anywhere.

Bluetooth

Used only to connect compatible Bluetooth thermal receipt printers or barcode hangtag sticker printers.

Notifications

Used only to display local reminders such as low stock alerts for garment sizes, backup reminders, or alteration delivery alerts.

4. Data Storage

All application data is stored locally in the app's local database on your Android device.

The app does not maintain any online database or remote storage for your business data.

5. Backup and Restore

POS Ledger Plus allows you to create backup files on your device.

These backup files remain under your control and are stored only in the location you choose on your device or external storage.

The app does not automatically upload backups to any cloud service unless you explicitly choose to backup to Google Drive.

6. Internet Usage

POS Ledger Plus is designed to work completely offline.

An internet connection is not required for normal garment billing, size matrix management, fitting room holds, or reporting.

7. Data Security

Because your data remains on your device, you are responsible for protecting your device using screen lock, password, fingerprint, or other security methods.

We recommend creating regular backups to avoid accidental data loss.

8. Device Security Authentication

To help protect your business data, POS Ledger Plus may use your Android device's built-in security features, such as Device PIN, Pattern, Password, or Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint or Face Unlock).

This authentication is used only to verify that the person requesting sensitive actions—such as resetting the application security PIN—is the authorized owner or user of the device.

POS Ledger Plus does not collect, store, or transmit your device PIN, password, pattern, fingerprint, facial data, or any other biometric information. Authentication is performed securely by the Android operating system using the device's built-in security framework.

Biometric or device credential verification is used solely for local authentication on your device and is never shared with us or any third party.

9. Children's Privacy

POS Ledger Plus is intended for use by retail clothing store owners, boutique managers, and authorized cashiers.

The app is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the application or legal requirements.

Any updates will be published on this page along with the revised "Last Updated" date.

11. Advertising (Google AdMob)

POS Ledger Plus may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support the continued development and maintenance of the application.

Google AdMob may collect and process certain information as described in Google's Privacy Policy, which may include:

  • Device information
  • Advertising ID
  • IP address
  • App usage information
  • Approximate location (if permitted by your device settings)

This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy practices. POS Ledger Plus does not receive or store this advertising data on its own servers.

Users can manage or reset their Advertising ID through their Android device settings.
